Rachel & Mike Smith's Wedding

I'm always feeling so lucky with the wonderful clients we work with each year.  I'm not sure what it is, but it just seems like our photography attracts similiar personalities to our own!  Rachel and Mike were no exception!!  I instantly loved them when we met around the holidays last year! The wedding was so much fun for us!  Their families were incredible and we laughed ourselves through the happy day. Rachel was one of the happiest and most cheerful brides!  I love all the images we caught of Mike and her smiling, and even laughing during parts of the ceremony.  It was so touching and cute!  We headed into Hudson to capture some pictures and take advantage of the beautiful fall colors.  What a great afternoon we had with them!      The reception was full of crazy games and lots of dancing..what a great bunch of people!  Thank you Rachel and Mike and your families!  Hope you have a wonderful honeymoon!

Alec's Senior Picture preview!

I've known Carrie and her family for several years now and it's always love taking her picture!  Carrie was so much fun to photograph and such a sweet girl!  It's fun to look at these pictures that were taken just a few weeks ago to remember how nice and warm it was!

Gary & Ashley Holden Arboretum Wedding

Ashley and Gary had the most romantic and personable wedding!  It began with the beautiful Holden Arboretum location and then was filled with unique touches that really showed the personality of this adorable couple.  The wedding was really all about their love and what all people around them meant to them. Even the officiant was a close friend that had gotten her license just to marry Ashley and Gary.  From the beautiful and touching things said to them during their ceremony to the toast that had everyone in tears....it was really an honor to be part of their celebration.  The reception private and perfect!  They had an amazing food truck or as their business card says...Mobile Bistro that served the best wedding dinner we've ever had!  With dishes such as Lobster Mac-n-Cheese, Chipotle Pumpkin BBQ Pulled Pork and Bacon Brussel Sprouts, who would doubt this to be the best meal ever! It was fantastic and so fun at the same time!  Streat Mobile Bistro  is a unique and fabulous option for outdoor weddings and other events! But, the food wasn't the only highlight!  There was the custom made photo booth that Gary put into action with his IT skills that had everyone running around with hats and fun props throughout the night!  I could go on and on, this was such a fun and beautiful wedding.  Gary and Ashley we wish you the best and enjoy your ICELAND honeymoon!!

Mike & Coletta's Vermillion Wedding

The day began with  beautiful sunshine and a cool breeze.  We were excited to be photographing Coletta and Mike's  wedding in the quaint and beautiful lakeside town of Vermillion!  Our adorable bride Coletta, had put so many of her own touches into their wedding.  Not only did she make all the flower bouquets, but also her gorgeous antique brooch wedding bouquet. Her dress was custom made with a bit of her mother and grandmother's dress incorporated into the design.  But, the sunshine held out only till just after the wedding and then the storms and wind moved in, making it impossible to take advantage of the lakeside beauty for pictures.  But, that didn't dampen the spirits of this lively wedding party and we found nice alternatives to capture part of their wedding day.  Later, we  were able to battle the wind and catch a few lakeside pictures,  just before heading into the reception!  The reception greeted us with the most amazing candy and desert tables, that they had a room all to themselves!  There were containers for all the guest to help themselves create their own custom candy box or bag.  Such a sweet couple with a wedding that seemed to really fit their personalities!
