John & Dana Rubis's Shoreby Club Wedding

     As I began to write this blog post, I'm reminded of the amazing moments that we get to share with our clients at one of the most memorable days of their lives.  Just about every wedding, there is something unique and touching that sticks with us.  Someday I'll have to write a post to share some of those amazing stories! This wedding was no exception.
     We photographed John and Dana's engagement session last fall down at Ohio University.  We had so much fun with them and the beautiful campus, that we spent 4 hours photographing and even stopped for lunch.  We were looking forward to meeting their families and sharing in the beautiful day they had planned!  I enjoyed meeting their families at the rehearsal Friday night. Despite her father being a bit ill, he smiled constantly and I was able to capture a few pictures. 
     Unfortunately, when we arrived the next morning at the Hyatt,  I learned that he was in the hospital, he would be fine, but was going to miss the long awaited wedding.  Their families wouldn't let that happen....her brother set up Skype on his IPad and her father Daniel, was able to view the entire thing from the Cleveland Clinic!  Now, I've always loved Skype, as it let me "talk and see" my husband John, while he spent a year on military duty, so it was wonderful to see it being used in such a special way again!

Dana  and John are such a special couple.  They made sure to take the day in and savor all the moments. After the ceremony at  St. John's Cathedral and a few pictures, they took one of the limos and spent some quiet time around the city.  I just love that!    After a quick trip to visit her father we headed to the Shoreby Club for an elegant evening cocktail hour and reception under the stars. Her father recorded a toast to her and John that they played out loud for everyone to hear.  I don't think there was a dry eye. Her father certainly has a a way with words, it was so beautiful.   Amazing wedding John and Dana!  It fit your personalities perfectly!

Charles & Melissa Kellogg's Wedding

   Melissa & Charles had a beautiful wedding that was celebrated with many family and friends that  had traveled  from Michigan to share the wonderful weekend celebration with them!  They were such fun and easy going and I found spending the day with them was like being with friends!  Charles, a fire fighter and  in the Air Force, surprised everyone and walked out for his wedding in his Air Force dress blues! Looking handsome and at ease, Charles had one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen on a groom.  I absolutely love the image of him greeting his beautiful (very beautiful) bride at the alter!

  The Springvale Country Club reception was decorated with stunning details as Troy Entertainment had everyone and I mean everyone, on the dance floor!  It was amazing to see such a huge crowd dancing and enjoying the evening!  Such a fun couple with amazing family and friends!  Melissa's gorgeous  flowers were by Enchanting Flowers!  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Enchanting-Flowers

Tim & Lauren Bucciere's Wedding

When I met with Lauren back in the Fall, I also had the pleasure of meeting her mother and sisters!  What a treat it was for me!  Lauren and her family were so incredibly easy to talk with!  It was a wonderful meeting and I knew that Lauren's wedding would be wonderful.  A big THANK YOU to Lauren for accommodating our schedule when she had to change her original wedding date!

The ceremony was filled with lots of happy tears and unbelievable music!  With both her sister and mother involved with the music program at her church, they knew the best musicians to invite for the wedding.  I'm not sure there was a dry eye after the beautiful duet that was sang!

We loved photographing around Brecksville and were so lucky that the weather never rained on us!

Tim and Lauren were not only a very strikingly beautiful couple, but their personalities and wedding party were amazing! Congratulations to the Jovanovs and Buccieres!
