Dan and Ashley's Sandusky Wedding

We always seem to be so blessed with fabulous clients!  I hear other photographers state similar comments and I just have to think it's because as photographers, we attract similar personalities with our photography.  Ashley is no exception!  I recall our first phone conversation.  She was so sweet and talked about her best friend Lauren, the photographer and how important photography was to both of them.  When we met, I instantly loved both of them!

I met with Ashley a few weeks ago to go over photography locations and the wedding schedule.  At the end of our meeting I felt like I already knew Dan, though I hadn't met him.  I love getting to know a couple and the history of their relationship!  It really helps us capture the wedding day with their personalities! They thought of each other in the morning with a huge bouquet of flowers delivered to the salon for Ashley and a "beer cake" to the guys that Ashley made!  John was totally impressed with all the work that went into the "beer cake" and said the guys broke right into it!
Their ceremony was at the beautiful and stylish St Mary's Catholic Church in Sandusky.  I LOVED the Fall decorations in this church! It was so beautiful! Despite the cool weather and the winds, Dan and Ashley were so happy together and excited to spend some time visiting all the awesome locations we had selected for pictures. It was such a great day and John and I had so much fun with Dan, Ashley, Lauren and the whole wedding party!

Brad and Kelly's Aurora Engagement

There's nothing much better than beautiful Fall colors and an adorable couple in the very spot they got engaged! As we started the session the rain was pouring down and we began shooting with umbrellas, but within a few minutes of photographing... the rain stopped and really brought out the romance between Brad and Kelly.  From the park ranger telling them the story of his wife finding the marriage proposal in chalk on the path.. to the story of how they instantly connected when they met, it was a such a sweet afternoon! Thanks for such a fun session!
