Our final wedding of 2013 ended not with our usual New Year's Eve wedding, but with an even bigger BANG in Maui, with the most awesome couple, Zach and Alyssa!
A good friend and bridesmaid of Alyssa's recommended us to them for their upcoming wedding. We first met Zach and Alyssa via a Skype interview, from their Columbus home. Immediately, I sensed their down-to-earth style and personalities and felt an instant connection with them. John and I traveled to Columbus to meet them in person and to photograph their engagement session in early spring. Though it rained the entire time, we had so much fun photographing them and the dinner that followed! We were (of course) ecstatic, when they asked us to photograph their Maui wedding just after Christmas!
We photographed them in numerous beautiful and fun locations throughout the island! The beautiful locations and areas perfectly show cased their Maui wedding! Alyssa and Zach exchanged their wedding vows on a beautiful sunset beach with their best friends and family sharing in the beautiful moments. With their typical casual flare.. after the wedding, the bride and groom ran into the ocean and their wedding party soon joined them! Their run into the ocean topped off all the pictures as it displayed their whimsical fun personalities. It was an amazing wedding for all of us! This couple is very special and we feel very blessed to have been part of their beautiful wedding and Maui adventure!!
