The uniqueness doesn't stop there..she also had her mother as her maid-of-honor. LOVE THIS! Don't you just love when a couple makes their own traditions and
special touches for their wedding?
After their Avon Lake, St. Joe's wedding we stopped at Maria's Field of Hope for a little sunshine from all the sunflowers. It was super windy and about to rain, but between the sunny flowers and John and Erin's big smiles you know if was bothering them!
Once we arrived at the Cleveland Yacht Club, we had just a few minutes to grab a few shots out by the water! Everyone had so much fun making quick photos for the bride and groom!
A Cleveland Yacht Club wedding is special. With views of the sailboats and beautiful Lake Erie the reception was gorgeous and fun. Fun is an understatement for this reception. It began with toast and Erin's mother had the privilege of giving the maid-of-honor toast from the viewpoint of her mother. It really was amazing. We loved the way she new Erin best and could tell such beautiful stories of her as she grew up. It was one of the best speeches we have heard. Even John's best friend had an awesome speech...talking about them when they were young and how John watched out for him.
So yes, the speeches were very touching and I adore that! lol The festive party atmosphere of the rest of the evening, was also filled with close family and friends. I've never seen families having so much fun dancing together! What an awesome group! Congratulations Erin and John!!!
