Denny & Molly's Cleveland Engagement

Well it was a typical cold and extremely windy day in beautiful Cleveland, but we love shooting engagements and were thrilled to make the best of it!  Denny and Molly's wedding is this fall and they wanted to get their "save-the-dates" and wedding signature book started.  Avid Brown's fans, we began lakeside for some special save-the-date shots and then headed into downtown to try our best at avoiding the wind!  Molly has such beautiful hair, that I was just hoping for the sun to peek out for a bit of highlights! No sunshine, but plenty of shine from Molly's fabulous smile!  Aren't these two adorable!  We had fun in this awesome ally, loved all the old bricks and warm colors.  But my favorite part was the new and colorful mural recently put up in Cleveland!  I'm sure we will be seeing this location in a lot of wedding pictures this summer!

Shana & Brian's Botanical Gardens Engagement

Brian and Shana are a beautiful couple who chose the gorgeous Cleveland Botanical Gardens for their engagement session. I was so happy to see the bright and elegant clothing Shana had selected!  Also, look at those awesome heels!  Apparently, Brian's dog bought them for her! He was ashamed that he chewed up another pair of hers.  Isn't that a great dog?!  Seriously, this couple is adorable and have a bright future.  Shana own's her own business in Lima and Brian is an intern at University Hospital in Internal Medicine.  Yes, the last engagement session I photographed, the bride was an intern in the same field and yes, I asked if he knew her, but he didn't. Just a nice coincidence!
The garden's greenhouse was warm and beautiful with an orchid show going on.  We had to dodge the garden guest, but it was a perfect selection for a winter engagement!
Beautiful!
Such a great and fun couple!

Wedding & Portrait Professional International (WPPI)

There's nothing like joining forces with thousands of other photographers from all over the world, to bring a new perspective and enthusiasm to our work and more importantly, our life.  Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), held its week long conference in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel this past week.  Everything you could want is there, from fab restaurants, gift shops and plenty of entertainment, catching a show or just people watching, you actually never have to leave the hotel, but you definitely should!       Each day we filled to capacity with classes presented by amazing photographers, great food and adventures  all around Las Vegas!  One afternoon we spent poolside just relaxing.  The next day we rented a convertible and drove out to The Valley Of Fire National Park.  On the way back to LV, we spotted a Stealth Bomber (awesome) flying along next to us.  It was flying so smoothly , we almost missed it!  We then drove through the bright lights of Vegas back to a WPPI party and then headed out again to see the infamous Old Vegas strip!
Next morning we checked out Pawn Stars, just for fun. Then after the massive photography Expo and a few purchases, we spent the rest of the day visiting some of the astonishing hotels and enjoying a fabulous patio lunch, at which is now one of my favorite restaurants, Mon Ami Gabi. From classes and parties to the traveling and relaxing, we are already looking forward to next year!

Our WPPI passes to fun and the one of the beautiful MGM Grand pools at our hotel.
Took an afternoon off to visit the area!

Mon Ami Gabi Restaurant  is a beautiful classic French restaurant across from the Bellagio fountains.  It was the most beautiful and relaxing afternoon as we sat out in the warm sunshine enjoying an amazing meal and wine.
We were having such a good time that we found it difficult to venture on.
Grabbed a quick and yummy burger on our way out of town!  LOVED this classic vintage hotel sign!
Such a contrast..
John now wants a mustang.
We just wishing we had someone to photograph in this amazing location...so turned the camera on ourselves for once!
Fremont street in Old Las Vegas was a covered block with a light show and concert above us all!  AMAZING!

The architecture was worth the trip!  From a mini New York, Italy, and even a Paris to visit.
One of the WPPI parties and a couple of new friends we met!
Hi Grainne and Gordon of Art and  Soul Photography in Canada!
