Laura & Brian's Gates Mills Wedding

Thank you to our photographers and friends, Jessica Lowman and Michael Vantz for capturing this beautiful wedding for us this past weekend! So Jessica is our first 'guest' blogger!

This past weekend , Michael and I had the honor of photographing on behalf of Imagine It Photography. We arrived at the home of the bride's parents to capture some of the preparations. The air was fragrant with fresh flowers. The house was bustling with a flurry of activity. Giggling flower girls and final touches along with a few family pictures.
The groom, Brian anxiously awaited our arrival at Severance Hall in which he and Laura would take their first glimpses of each other before their vows. Laura was extremely elegant accompanied in style by her adorable and ever helpful flower girls. The couple shared an intimate first dance moment.
A beautiful and heartfelt ceremony was held at St. Francis Assisi followed by afternoon scenic captures of a few signature downtown Cleveland locations.
The reception was held at the historic Manakiki. The terrace was in full swing for cocktail hour with delicious hors d'oeuvres, libations and the sounds of JT3, the John Tools Trio.
The dining room and reception area were beautifully decorated. Guests began to make their way in to welcome the new Mr & Mrs. Dinner and dancing were followed by a sparkler send off to Brian & Laura. The weather could not have been more beautiful for this sweet and adoring couple. We enjoyed sharing the day with you and are excited to share some of the highlights.

The first look reminded us of a Cinderella fairytale.

Brian & Laura began the evening with a kiss under the Chandelier at Playhouse Square.

Megan & Brandon's Kirtland Hills Wedding

Megan and Brandon were married on a beautiful spring day in Chesterland, OH. at St Anselm Church.  Spring is certainly trying to make up for the bad weather we've had this winter, with warm and sunny days that are just perfect for all the weddings!  Megan's parent's home was filled with smiling bridesmaids, flowing champagne and so much excitement as everyone prepared for the big day ahead.  When I had first met with Megan, I took a sneak peek at her wedding dress, it was stunning, but when I finally saw it in person, I was blown away! Even John was appreciating all the gorgeous details. Of course, once we saw Megan in the dress, it was absolutely amazing!
Then there were her shoes.....just dazzling in every way...and so much fun to photograph!

After the beautiful wedding, we photographed downtown and then headed for the Cultural Gardens, which is always unique and beautiful during all times of the year. The reception was held at the elegant Cleveland Intercontinental Hotel.  Their staff was above accommodating and put on a bit of the show as the wedding party was introduced. It was a beautiful and fun location for Brandon and Megan's wedding reception. During the maid-of-honor's speech, she mentioned Megan's dancing skills.  Before we knew it, the crowd had  formed a big circle around the beautiful bride and we got a taste of this talented and fun bride's dance skills! Soon her brother joined in the dancing and I doubt there were many guest left seated!
It was a beautiful wedding with beautiful details and wonderful families and friends.
