Ryan & Rachael's Lake Sara Wedding

A wedding to remember.......John and I remember when this beautiful bride was born.  We were only dating when Rachael's mother went into labor after a family bonfire.  Over the years we have grown to love her more than we ever imagined.  She is not only beautiful, smart and determined, but also an incredible mother and friend to all that are lucky enough to be in her life. Ryan and Rachael have a special relationship that is built on the simple little things in life.  Ryan is the perfect yin to her yang. Sweet things that are said at an unusual moments and the hugs and laughter shared with the boys are only a few of the things that Rachael loves about Ryan.  He is always there for her and has loved her little boys as if they have always been in his life.  He is truly a special man and we couldn't be happier for the two of them.

When they became engaged, I was hoping and hoping that we would be asked to photograph the wedding!  Coming back to Illinois was not only special because it was going to be a beautiful wedding celebration with John's family, but also because I began my photography there, working for a local photographer while attending college.

It was a sweet and natural wedding with a lakeside reception.  Pictures of their friends and family decorated the reception and beautiful sunset views set the tone for a relaxed and fun celebration! One of the hits of the evening was the amazing 10 minute dance the bridesmaids had choreographed as a surprise for the groomsmen and all the guests!  It was so much fun and I loved how they incorporated the groomsmen without them even knowing about it!

The day flew by as usual and wish we would have had another day to photograph this wonderful couple!  Congratulations to two amazing and wonderful people!!

Chris & Angela's St. John's Cathedral Wedding-Cleveland Wedding Photographer

Angela and Chris's wedding preparations began at the elegant Marriott Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio.  After a bit of pre-wedding photography everyone headed to St. John's Cathedral on the nostalgic Cleveland trolley!  As the guest arrived for the ceremony, they were serenaded by harmonious sounds of bagpipes, giving an old world feel to the downtown cathedral! After a quick bite to eat nearby, we headed to capture some views of the Cleveland skyline from the ever perfect Superior Viaduct. Moving closer to the reception location we arrived at the classic and beautiful Cleveland Arcade to capture some fun and unique moments.  On to the reception at The Club at Key Center, we were captivated by a room filled with an abundance of flowers and vintage touches collected by Chris and Angela.  DJ Spencer, with Jerry Bruno Productions, kept the dance floor hopping all night long!  Check out the funny guest favors....figures that being doctors, they would be thinking of their guest! Such awesome hangover kits!  We had so much fun with all of Chris and Angela's family and friends!  What a great spring wedding with such a wonderful couple!
Have a wonderful honeymoon in Bora Bora!

Dreamy florals are by Isa's Touch-Floral Designing.
Love this image that our assistant, Jessica captured at the end of the ceremony!
The Arcade is one of the most beautiful locations in Cleveland and the perfect setting for this beautiful couple to capture some of their wedding day moments.
The adorable cake was from Wild Flour Bakery!
