Sean & Meredith Hovan Wedding

When choosing images for Meredith and Sean's blog post, I kept coming back to a central theme.....HAPPY!  Sean & Meredith were truly so happy to be together!  Their photography is full of huge laughs and silly grins.  Their love was so apparent and their happiness so big, that even the rainy weather was fun!

The joy didn't stop with them......Meredith's father, a pastor, wed the couple.  I've never heard a more touching and personal wedding ceremony. When it came to reception toast, her brother and sister followed suit!  Such wonderful families, who were truly so happy for both of them!

They live in Washington, DC, but I'm so glad they choose to get hitched here in Cleveland!!

Adorable expressions thoughout the ceremony!

We loved working with A Wedding Wish wedding planning again, beautiful job Angela!  http://aweddingwish.wordpress.com/

Andrew & Blair Larson's Wedding April 14, '12

Blair Kelly & Andrew Larson were married in a sweet and romantic fashion in Peoria, Illinois.  The beautiful details Blair put into her wedding, perfectly matched her personality and style.  Blair's mother, Laura, is my best friend! From the age of 14, Laura and I have shared our lives from high school, college, marriage and children. She has always been one of the most beautiful people I've ever known.  I remember when John and I had just moved to Germany, Laura came to visit.  I'll never forget walking through Paris with Laura and her beginning to tell me she wanted to go back to the hotel and take a nap!! Not having children yet, I just couldn't understand how she could want to nap when we were in PARIS!!  We laugh about it now, both knowing pregnancy can be exhausting! That baby was Blair!  So needless to say.........it was a very special day for me.

Blair's childhood park.....
Blair changed into a vintage wedding gown for their beautiful historic venue.
LOVED the fun red trolley !

Ryan & Stephanie McDavid's Wedding Celebration

John and I had so much fun with Ryan and Stephanie!  Back in the summer when it was warm and sunny, we photographed their fun engagement session.  It began with a rustic barn and ended at Avon Lake's beach.  Continuing with that beach theme....Ryan and Stephanie flew to Aruba for their actual beach side wedding.  Wanting to celebrate with their friends here in the states, they hosted a fun filled evening at Windows on the River.  We just had to capture a few images of the beautiful sunset over Cleveland before heading into the reception.

Love the beach themed cake.

WE are doing away with traditional disc!  This is so cool for our clients!
What does this mean?  No, it doesn’t mean that I won’t be offering my clients the digital negatives, it simply means that I won’t be offering the digital negatives on a disc for those wanting something better.

Why??
  • Well, first of all, discs (CDs or DVDs) are so awkward. What I mean is, when was the last time you inserted a disc into your desktop or laptop? You were probably just transferring files, right? Possibly photos to your computer? You had to wait while is spun around taking forever. Then, what did you do with that disc? Put it away, or maybe even misplace it?
  • Discs can go bad. Yes, like they can stop working and go corrupt. Discs don’t last forever. We highly recommend backing up photos from any disc to your computer. And then again online.
  • Longer delivery.  We don’t just slap a disc in a plastic jewel case and call it a day. For our past clients, we have ordered personalized cases, which take time to design and order. Discs take time to burn.
  • Instead, We are ushering our tech savvy clients into the next decade with a fast, accessible, and secure solution: cloud storage. What does this mean?
  • Security. We'll be able to offer you a secure, multi-site backup, all online. This means that you can rest assured that you’ll always have access to your photos. Should some type of catastrophic event occur, you can be at ease knowing your precious photos are online and safe.
  • Accessibility. With the awesome company that we are working with, you’ll not only have the ability to access your photos at any time, download them at any time, and share them at anytime, you’ll also be able to access them from anywhere – your laptop, iPhone, iPad, or Android devices. This means you can share on the go – when you’re visiting family across the country or friends across the world. Kinda like visiting our private galleries, but you can select what they see!

Nate & Candice Hartong's New Year's Eve Wedding

The final wedding of the year was an fun-filled beautiful winter themed celebration!  After photographing Nate & Candice's vintage inspired engagement session in the spring, which included Nate's cool car, an old fashion diner and rustic farm, we knew the attention to detail for the wedding would be very special! From Candice's white fur boots, to Michael Angelo's Bakery creation of Cleveland Browns snowman topper for the snow covered cake, it was an amazing New Year's wedding! The band Off The Hook, rocked the party all night long, with awesomely creative ideas for getting the crowd involved in the singing and dancing!

The band...'Off The Hook' was amazing!    http://www.othrocks.com
They kept the wedding guest involved through out the night
 with fabulous music and entertainment!
